About
The cgroup began its journey producing an economic development video called New Bern: A Southern Surprise. Economic development videos for communities and counties gradually expanded our production to include physician recruitment for hospitals and medical centers. Each video featured at least 3 interviews with a current physician at that facility discussing professional careers and demonstrating their work-life balance.
Then, as the Research Triangle Park grew in our home base of Raleigh-Durham, our work with area medical and pharmaceutical companies, including Burroughs Wellcome and Glaxo, now GlaxoSmithKline, grew to include corporate communications for internal and external audiences.
This led to us producing television commercials, a few indie features, and our first feature documentary Live and Let Go which won the New York Film & Video Audience Award in 2001. From there, we have focused on working with people telling their stories.
